Electronic Security Company Names Leader of Source Tagging Initiative

Fort Lauderdale, FL – January 10, 2007 – TAG Company, a leading provider of anti-shoplifting tagging solutions, announced today that industry veteran, Debbie Fisher, is working with the company to expand TAG’s Global Source Tagging efforts. 

Ms. Fisher is responsible for driving the company’s source tagging initiatives with North American retailers and the consumer product manufacturers who supply them.  Source Tagging is the practice of applying anti-shoplifting (EAS) labels to merchandise at the point of manufacture or distribution.  Companies that take advantage of source tagging realize significant operational and loss prevention efficiencies. It is estimated that nearly half of all EAS labels are applied at the source, rather than in-store.
